African Swine Fever Virus Detection Kit Designed for the extraction of viral DNA from anticoagulated blood, serum, tissue, feed, and environmental samples. The purified nucleic acids are suitable for use in routine laboratory procedures and PCR assays. This product is ideal for antigen diagnostic applications in various settings, including pig farms, slaughterhouses, meat processing plants, and disease surveillance zones.
African Swine Fever Virus Detection Kit Primarily utilized for the extraction of viral DNA from samples suspected of African Swine Fever (ASF) virus infection. The kit supports a diverse range of sample types—including anticoagulated blood, serum, swabs, tissue, feed, and environmental samples—yielding purified nucleic acids suitable for standard molecular biology procedures and PCR amplification. This provides high-quality templates for subsequent antigen detection.
Regarding sample collection, specific protocols have been established for different scenarios. For live pigs, 5 mL of anticoagulated blood or serum is collected using sterile techniques. For post-mortem samples from deceased pigs or slaughterhouse inspections, tissues such as the spleen, lungs, kidneys, tonsils, lymph nodes, and muscle are collected under sterile conditions. For environments potentially contaminated by infected pigs, samples of feces, feed, and wastewater are collected from the immediate vicinity. All collected samples must be transported to the laboratory under refrigerated conditions (2–8°C) to ensure nucleic acid stability and minimize the impact of sample degradation on test results.
African Swine Fever Virus Detection Kit Employs established nucleic acid extraction technology with a standardized workflow, enabling the rapid completion of the entire process—from sample lysis and nucleic acid binding to washing and elution—within a short timeframe. The extracted DNA features high purity and thorough removal of inhibitors, making it compatible with detection platforms such as real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) and facilitating the rapid, accurate diagnosis of African Swine Fever antigens. In settings such as pig farms, slaughterhouses, meat processing plants, and cold storage facilities, this kit serves as a valuable tool for diagnosing suspected cases, monitoring positive cases within outbreak zones, and conducting routine disease prevention and control screening.
In practical application, the test results provide a critical basis for pig farms to formulate effective disease prevention and control strategies. For samples yielding positive results, epidemiological investigations can be combined with immediate response measures—such as isolation, disinfection, and safe disposal—to prevent the further spread of the virus. This kit is equally suitable for environmental sample monitoring; by enabling the periodic testing of areas such as barn floors, transport vehicles, feed, and water sources, it assists livestock farms in assessing the effectiveness of their biosecurity measures and identifying potential contamination points. The entire detection workflow—spanning from sample collection to nucleic acid extraction and PCR analysis—forms a closed-loop process, making it suitable for use in both routine laboratory testing and emergency monitoring scenarios.
There is a hidden hazard invisible to the naked eye in solar photovoltaic panels —— hidden cracks. This hazard can negatively impact the performance and lifespan of photovoltaic power generation systems. Let’s take a detailed look at it.Hidden cracks refer to fine cracks that occur in the cells o...
