1.Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meter Product Overview
Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meter emits an ultrasonic beam into a stream, integrating the measurement of flow velocity, level, temperature, and flow rate.Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meter (hereinafter referred to as the product) is a new generation of Doppler flowmeter developed by our company based on ultrasonic Doppler, spectrum analysis and low power consumption technologies.The product consists of a flow rate measurement module, a liquid level measurement module, a temperature measurement module, a microcontroller, a communication module, a power supply module, etc., integrating the measurement, storage and communication of current speed, liquid level, temperature and flow.Suitable for flow velocity and flow measurement of open channels, rivers, and drainage pipe networks, as well as flow velocity and flow measurement of various full and non-full pipes.
2.How Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meter Works
Product flow velocity measurement is based on the Doppler effect.The probe emits a beam of ultrasonic waves obliquely upwards.When the ultrasonic waves contact impurities or bubbles in the fluid, the reflected ultrasonic waves will produce Doppler shift Δf.The Doppler shift Δf is proportional to the fluid flow rate.By measuring the Doppler shift Δf, the flow rate V of the fluid can be measured.
The product measures the liquid level based on the pressure sensor.The fluid cross-sectional area S can be automatically calculated through the set channel parameters.Based on the velocity area method, the liquid flow rate Q can be measured.

4.How to use Doppler Ultrasonic Flow Meter
1.Installation requirements
Water quality requirements: According to the measurement principle, the water body to be tested must contain certain tiny impurities or bubbles, but there are not too many floating objects in the water to avoid interference.
Water flow state requirements: It should be installed downstream of the straight section with a fixed section.The length of the straight section is preferably 5-10 times the channel hydraulic radius (the longer the straight section, the higher the measurement accuracy), and there must be no overflow barriers (such as sluice gates, weirs, etc.) within this distance to ensure the uniform and stable flow state of the water flow state in the front section of the probe.

4.Daily maintenance
In order to make the instrument work properly, maintenance personnel are asked to regularly maintain the instrument.
lThe two circular ultrasonic transceiver devices at the front end of the sensor should be avoided from hitting or scratching hard objects.When foreign objects are attached to them, use clean water to rinse or soft cloth to lightly observe;
lThe pressure sensor at the bottom is located in the mesh permeable hole.The pressure membrane is very thin and must not be contacted with hard objects.It should also be protected when the instrument is not used when it is not in use.It should be removed carefully when foreign objects are attached around the permeable holes.
