1.Introduction to McLeod vacuum gauge product
McLeod vacuum gauge is used to measure very low pressure. It can measure low pressure of 1 micron and is the most convenient and economical tool.McLeod vacuum gauge is also known as McLeod vacuum gauge, fluid vacuum gauge, rotary compression vacuum gauge, which determines the vacuum degree according to the ideal isothermal compression Boyle-Mallor's specific law, so the measured value has the meaning of "absolute"..
2.Use of McLeod vacuum gauge products
1.McLeod vacuum gauge is mainly used for the measurement of low vacuum in vacuum industrial production. It is widely used in central air-conditioning Aohua Carp refrigeration units, metallurgy, metal magnesium smelting, petrochemical industry.Vacuum furnaces, vacuum drying boxes, electronic tubes, and high-voltage power equipment., medicine, scientific experiments, educational research and metrology institutes, etc.
2.Because McLeod vacuum gauge can directly calculate the pressure value through its own parameters, in addition to pressure measurement, it can also be used as an "absolute vacuum gauge" to verify some relative vacuum gauges, such as resistance vacuum gauges, and thermal couples.Vacuum gauge and film vacuum gauge, etc.

5.McLeod vacuum gauge installation instructions
1.Before installation: Remove the McLeod vacuum gauge from the packaging.First, carefully observe the glass tube part of the instrument. On the premise of confirming that it has not been broken, first cut the nylon cable tie near the instrument end, and then vertically Pull it up straight and let the working medium (Hg) in the tube flow back into the glass tube.
2.Installation: Remove the nylon cable tie with the end of the vacuum hose, remove the inner port of the glue plug, apply vacuum grease to connect to the vacuum equipment under test, and weld the vacuum valve to control the opening and closing of the pipe at the connection. If necessary, a tight hoop can be placed at the interface to tighten the clamp to prevent air leakage.
3.Reading: Let the instrument run the vacuum equipment in a horizontal state (handle upward) for 1-3 minutes, then slowly open the vacuum valve and enter the measurement state, and last for 3-5 minutes in the measurement state (the vacuum pump size is different, and the duration is different. The length, judge by experience during the operation, read the instrument vertically. Please refer to the instrument printing for specific operations.
4.Measurement end: The instrument should be restored to a horizontal state (handle upward), so that the measurement medium should be returned to the lower end of the glass tube, and then the vacuum valve should be closed. If necessary, use a clip to clamp the vacuum rubber tube to isolate it from the vacuum system. This can ensure that the mercury in the vacuum meter is clean and can also prevent the atmosphere from shattering when the vacuum meter is removed and separated. After the vacuum meter is removed, the mechanical pump and the valves of the vacuum system should be closed after the mechanical vacuum pump is stopped, and the mechanical pump should be placed in the atmosphere to prevent the mechanical oil from returning to the vacuum system and the vacuum meter from being contaminated by oil.
6.McLeod vacuum gauge maintenance
1.When transporting or using the Max's watch, it must be strictly prevented from being inverted and lying flat to prevent mercury from reversing into the vacuum core tube or mercury beads entering the intermediate closed tube capillary tube and blocking the capillary tube affecting the measurement accuracy. Therefore, the vacuum must be used before each use.The tube is vertical upward so that the mercury can flow back into the vacuum gauge glass tube.
2.During measurement, the vacuum gauge is in an upright state. It is strictly forbidden to place any gas into the straight-air system to avoid impacting the mercury in the glass tube and causing the glass tube to break.
3.McLeod vacuum gauge accidentally caused the mercury beads to enter the intermediate glass capillary (measuring closed tube) and be stuck. At this time, a mechanical vacuum pump can be used to pump the McLeod meter separately, and the vacuum meter will be rotated back and forth.Swinging can cause the mercury stuck in the glass tube to flow back into the mercury container.
4.The mercury working medium (Hg) of the vacuum meter has been specially treated and has a high purity.Mercury oxidative pollution caused by long-term use will directly affect the measurement accuracy. It should be returned to the factory for maintenance and calibration in time and can only be used after passing the test.
